Christine's style is very warm, professional and engaging, with a genuine sincerity. In addition to providing interpretation along the route, she also gave useful information of many of the attractions, suggesting the best time of day to visit the castle and how long a visitor would need.
Thanks for stopping by. Have a look around and get to know me.
Over the years I have had contact with international tourists of many nationalities and assisted visitors of all ages to see the sights of Edinburgh
Having gained my Diploma in Tourism I joined Guide Friday Bus Tours in Edinburgh in the nineties and have been working on bus and coach tours of Edinburgh ever since. More recently I have done a number of walking tours and am a member of the Edinburgh Tourist Guides Association and The Old Edinburgh Club..
Warm and welcoming, I offer tours that are a mixture of information, facts, history, stories, points of interest and amusing anecdotes. Not a lecture but a bit of fun - tailored to the background and interests of all clients.
The tours will often suggest ideas for places to visit in more detail at another time.
My hope is to make your visit to Edinburgh a fond memory.

EF day today though not quite as many as I had expected. Weather conditions in America meant that only the group from Houston in Texas who took a wee detour to avoid the problem, actually made it , albeit minus their luggage which should have arrrived later today. The rest of the group from the US hopefully arriving tomorrow. Well the small group were lovely. Tour around the city and photoshoot in Holyrood Park and taking advantage of our small size, was able to take them down some of the old closes that we otherwise wouldn't have had time to, on the way up to the castle. Did my homework, the flower that we found is the Foxglove.
